Let the Bidding Begin!

In early August, artists — both professional and amateur — purchased plain wooden basset templates and spent the next two months transforming them into 28 amazing works of art.

Now it’s your turn! You can bid on these one-of-a-kind basset masterpieces and bring home a truly unique creation. Every winning bid helps Suncoast Basset Rescue cover the medical costs of the hounds we save — over 75 bassets rescued in  2025 so far! With average expenses of $1,300 per hound, your support makes an enormous difference.

Brunch with the Bassets

Cost: $10 per person. Children ages 14 & under are free. Leashed dogs welcome!

Parking: A nominal parking fee is required by the Park:

· $6 per vehicle (up to 8 people)

· $4 single-occupant vehicle

· Free for holders of an Annual Individual FL State Park Entrance Pass

· $2 for passengers in a vehicle with a pass holder

Logistics for Winning Bidders

If you’re the winning bidder and attending the Brunch, you can take your basset masterpiece home with you that day!

If you’re not attending in person, don’t worry — we’ll make sure your basset finds its way to you. Delivery will be arranged via an SBR volunteer or by mail, depending on your location.
