Molotov’s Story
Molotov came into the care of Suncoast Basset Rescue from Lee County Animal Shelter in 2019. He arrived with his mother, Sadie, and his brother, William. All three were senior bassets when they arrived and were a strongly bonded trio.
Sadly, both Sadie and William crossed the rainbow bridge this past year. The sadness increased when Molotov’s foster dad suffered a serious accident and Molotov had to move to a new foster family in a new foster home. While he has several foster brother and sister bassets to keep him company, it has been a big change for a senior guy of 13 years. He is slowly settling into his new home and family. Molotov will remain in SBR’s care and continue to receive the medical care, attention and love he needs.
